'Little Acorns' our Parent & Toddler group meets every Tuesday morning during term-time between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
Little Acorns grew from a small group of mums and their children meeting at the church every Thursday for a time of encouragement for one another and a chance for their children to play, learn songs and participate in craft. This was all linked to a story which set the theme for the afternoon.
This small group has grown and many new friendships have developed. We are looking at the possibility of having other speakers visit to share about issues that are relevant to childcare for our parents and carers.
Little Acorns is now on every Tuesday during term-time between 10.30am and 12.30pm. It is open to parents and carers and their children from birth up to the age of 4.
Little Acorns includes free-play, craft-time, story-time, song-time and lunch together (bring your own).
The church operates a nationally recognised Child Protection Policy and all workers with children have been CRB checked.
